chromosomes thinking of studying genetics...

Genetics is a teaching strength at ANU. Our staff are among the top genetics researchers in Australia and the world, and are committed to quality teaching and learning.  Like many other Australian universities, ANU does not have a Genetics Department. Instead, our genetics research and teaching is carried out in Schools and Departments across the University. This diversity provides students with a broad experience in the research and applications of modern genetics.

genetics@ANU is your one-stop-shop for information about genetics teaching and learning at ANU. This site provides you with information about all the courses offered, with advice on program planning and contact details for course co-ordinators. For students wishing to undertake research in genetics at ANU, information and guidance on research projects at third year, honours & PhD level is provided.
